Sport at Glenesk
At Glenesk we believe that sport and recreational play is crucial to every child’s development and well-being. Not only does participating in sport have the obvious physical and mental health benefits for your child but it also encourages the acquisition of life skills such as learning to be part of a team, leadership and good sportsmanship.
We are fortunate to have our own indoor heated swimming pool here at Glenesk so every child has the opportunity to learn to swim throughout the academic year. In addition we focus on building good foundations in a wide variety of games including athletics, cricket, football, gymnastics, rounders and touch rugby.
Extra-Curricular Activities & Individual Lessons
Our after school clubs cover a wide range extra-curricular activities & sports including athletics, football, judo and swimming.
We also offer individual swimming lessons upon request and families can use the Glenesk indoor pool on Saturdays from 9 to 11am as part of our Saturday Splash programme. To find out more, please call 01483 282329.
